In honor of Juneteenth, SIS (Seeking Insights for Solutions) and TiBA (Together is Better Alliance) invite you to a free screening of the documentary The Long Shadow followed by a virtual Q&A with Emmy Award-winning Director Frances Causey.
The Long Shadow explores the deeply rooted connections between slavery, systemic racism, and modern political dynamics in America. In this compelling and courageous documentary, Director Causey reveals her own family’s history of slaveholding as she investigates the enduring legacy of white privilege.
