Our Mission and Ministry Objectives

Mission

To strive as men to find our identity in Christ and become the husbands, fathers, sons, employees, and leaders we are meant to be.

Ministry Objective

• Bring men into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Unite men through Bible study, prayer, ministry, fellowship, and accountability.

• Support one another in all aspects of life.

• Create a supportive environment that touches the lives of the entire church family.

• Promote mentoring opportunities that lead to meaningful and lasting relationships.

• Become a magnet for service and a resource for other church ministries and missions.

• Provide events that promote fellowship, outreach, and evangelism.

Goals and Responsibilities

Goals

The Men’s Ministry will support the church’s mission to “receive, live, and share the abundant life of Jesus Christ.” We will accomplish this by supporting, advising, and planning events, fellowship activities, service projects, and worship opportunities focused on men.

Responsibilities

The Men’s Ministry will meet regularly to address the spiritual, fellowship, engagement, and pastoral needs of men in the church.

Meetings will include strategic planning and preparation for events such as fellowship gatherings, guest speakers, retreats, service projects, and other activities. Planning may include each event’s purpose, date, time, location, speaker, budget, food, and other necessary details.

Relationships, Time Commitments, and Skills

This ministry welcomes all men who wish to participate and work closely with one another, church staff, clergy, and others involved in men’s ministry opportunities.

Time Committments

One regular meeting per month, plus additional time as needed to support specific events and ministry opportunities.

Skills and Interest

Organization, thoughtful ideas about how to serve and engage men, a spirit of cooperation, and a willingness to take ownership of ministry activities and projects.
